Created in 2015 by Dunsborough founder Louise Robinson, Local Advantage was born from a love of community and a desire to make local living (and visiting) more connected and rewarding.
It’s a free marketing platform for small businesses, proudly funded by member subscriptions, so every time someone joins, they’re not just saving money, they’re supporting the local economy too. A win-win for locals, visitors, and the businesses that make our region special.
Originally a wallet style membership card, the program quickly grew and evolved as a purpose built membership app in 2016. A recent app rebuild has expanded the program beyond its predominantly local member base, making it more accessible and relevant for tourists and visitors to the regions.
