Established in 1985, Abbey Vale Vineyard and Cellar Door is located on Wildwood Road in the heart of the Yallingup Hills. The Cellar Door is under the NEW management of Goon Tycoons Pty Ltd, a combination of three guys who, like Liam Neeson, each have a very particular set of skills. Skills that they have acquired over long careers. Skills that aim to make fantastic wines for people like you.
Julian Langworthy is the gun winemaker, John Fogarty is the viticulturalist and Mark Fogarty is the finance guy.
Relaunching the Abbey Vale wine brand in early 2016, the Abbey Vale wines will focus on providing quality driven wines that showcase the traditional hero’s of Margaret River, being SSB, Cabernet and Chardonnay.
With a new series of wines in the works, watch this space for an exciting new label with a focus on quirky, small batch wines with a high degree of smashability being produced by winemaker Julian Langworthy, a finalist in the 2015 Gourmet Winemaker of the Year.
Abbey Vale is also the cellar door outlet for premium Margaret River olive oil producer, Wulura.
