At Local Advantage we are a small (yet mighty!) team of three, which means our three families (including 5 children under 8) benefit every time a new member joins our program. We promote & support over 200 more local businesses in the South West, which means every time you USE your Local Advantage membership you are supporting another business and their owners & employees too. The knock on effect doesn’t stop there, the suppliers to those businesses benefit too. Then those individuals and families are able to spend their income in even more surrounding businesses.
Our small businesses are at the heart of what makes our local communities great. We know, without small business, a community doesn’t thrive. Without small business, our economy would not survive. Small business are a huge part of our life.
They are the lifeblood of Western Australia. There are more than 210,000 small businesses in WA which encompasses a massive 97 per cent of ALL businesses in the state. Small businesses employ nearly half of ALL jobs in Western Australia.

It’s time to celebrate these things and remind ourselves to think small first.
